Yakima 8004039 Review: Yakima HullRaiser Rooftop Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs. I found the HullRaiser exactly as it was described. I had a Stacker before purchasing the HullRaiser. On my Jeep, the Stacker was up quite high and tough to get the straps on correctly.The HullRaiser was very simple to mount. Very stable when loaded with kayak. Haven't had to use the front and rear tie down straps yet. Only limitation is that I have to be able to get the kayak above my head to be able to hoist it onto the Hullraiser. Not much ...
