New Balance WR740 Review: New Balance Women's WR740 NBx Stability Running Shoe. As soon as I pulled these out of the box, I stuffed my size 9 feet in them. I expected them to be tight, as my feet are slightly wider than a medium but not wide enough for a wide in most brands. Nothing had prepared me for the comfortable feel of taking my first few steps in these New Balance shoes. There is no pinching or tightness and plenty of cushioning.
